Cate Hanson is a user experience (UX) designer living in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Minnesota. Cate received the AIA Henry Adams medal in architecture before switching fields and moving to San Francisco in 1999. She’s worked in high tech as a UX designer for over 20 years, at Oracle, PTC, SAP and Splunk.

Cate is also a teacher of meditation and personal growth. She holds a four-year degree in holistic healing from the Barbara Brennan School, is a registered yoga instructor, and practices intensive meditation since 2008. Cate co-taught both weekly and weekend intensive meditation classes through the Clairvision School in Berkeley California (2015, 2016). Cate takes one-on-one clients, helping people move through the emotional hurdles that come on a path of spiritual growth.
